'Honyasanukiya Kumatori Branch' is located about an 8-minute walk from the East Exit of the JR Hanwa Line Kumatori Station, and is a large store with a Japanese architectural vibe that catches the eye from the street, offering great access. The interior is spacious, allowing you to enjoy your meal in a warm atmosphere. Our most popular menu item is the 'Gen-udon Curry with Original Bari-Uma Curry'. The curry udon allows you to choose your spice level, making it enjoyable for a wide range of people from children to adults. You can also reasonably enjoy set meals paired with croquettes, rice, and pickles. Furthermore, healthy and delicious menu items such as nabe-yaki udon and tofu salad are well-stocked. Especially our homemade yose-doufu...

Conveniently located near our hotel, we came here to enjoy the last dinner of our Japan trip. It was a fitting choice. I managed to order ala carte & I really enjoyed the cold soba, agedashi tofu, tempura and edamame. The others in our group ordered set meals and enjoyed them too. Service was friendly and quick.

I had the lunch bara-sushi and cold chuka with mini shrimp tempura bowl. The cold chuka was seasoned a bit too strongly, and an unpleasant aftertaste lingered afterwards. Also, I feel like the noodles were chilled a bit too much. Chilling them too much makes you perceive only heavy seasonings. I think the noodle dishes here are good. Also, while it used to feel like a bargain, prices have gone up lately and it's average now. The parking lot is large and easy to park in, and the tables are spacious, so you can relax.

Just recently, I ate at another chain store and it was delicious, so during bicycle training, I visited for lunch and ordered the Summer Ten-zaru Set for 1,480 yen. Previously I had soba, but this time I went with the signature gen-udon. It doesn't have the whole-grain aroma to the extent of ramen or soba, but in terms of whether it's delicious or not, it is definitely delicious. The tempura is lightly and modestly seasoned, making it easy to eat for everyone. The baby corn being plated upside down is a charming quirk. Since it was a Sunday lunch hour right as summer vacation started, it was crowded and took quite a while to be served, but I think that's unavoidable. Store hygiene-wise, maybe due to being busy, cleaning and wiping were insufficient (△), and on the pricing side, it's not cheap, but quality-wise it matches and the volume is large. On the staff's service side, despite being busy, they were polite, friendly, and brisk, leaving a good impression. Personal matters aside, since it's on my usual bicycle training route, I want to try various menus from now on. Total rating is 4 stars.
