My daughter went to eat with her grandmother the other day and said, "It was too delicious, I want to go eat today!", so I visited for the first time in about 30 years or more? When I was in elementary school, I loved Chinatown's ramen and karaage, and today when I visited, I was able to remember eating them every time my family visited! I shared and ate with the children, but all of them were seasoned without losing the original flavor of the ingredients, and delicious! I don't know about other days, but the two of them are running the place just like back then, and even amidst being busy, they provide polite customer service. Back in the days when my parents brought me to eat, and today when I became a parent and brought my children to eat... For some reason, rather than just eating a meal, for the first time in a while, I was able to have a heartwarming meal. Thank you for the meal.
View on GoogleA Showa-era styled town Chinese restaurant located in a small shopping corner within a residential area where you probably wouldn't stumble upon it unless you knew it was there. The inside of the shop is small, but there is also a raised tatami seating area. There are only 3 counter seats. The chilled Chinese noodles (hiyashi chuka) have an orthodox appearance, suppressing acidity and having a slightly dominant sweetness for a refreshing taste. I like this seasoning. The gyoza are small bite-sized pieces, but the crispy texture of the wings (hanetsuki) is also a delicious dish. The fried rice is fluffy. It had a somehow nostalgic taste and was quite delicious. It seems to be run by a father and mother duo. If they smiled a bit more, it would be an even more comfortable shop. About 2 cars can be parked in front of the shop, but it doesn't seem to be exclusively designated parking spaces, and depending on the time of day, the neighboring shop is closed so more cars can probably park. It was a heartwarming town Chinese restaurant that gives off a somewhat nostalgic feeling.
View on GoogleLunch visit to Chinatown in Kumatori-cho. I didn't know about it even though it has been operating for 32 years. Ordered Karaage lunch plus 180 yen with mini ramen. Water while waiting is delicious. A shop with delicious water gives high expectations for deliciousness. Plump and garlic-infused (゚д゚) umami! Looks like simple ramen. Ladle doesn't stop from the nostalgic taste. Adding pepper makes it even more nostalgic. Sweet and sour pork with plenty of ingredients was also delicious. #LoveTownChinese #Chinatown
View on GoogleFirst time visiting. 2 adults, 2 children (4 and 3 years old) We went around 5:35 PM on Sunday, and the 6-person tatami seating, 8-person? (round table), 4-person table, and 4 counter seats? were fully seated. It seems reservations are not taken for parties under 10, so I recommend rushing at opening time and going early! Menu items ordered were: Tenshinhan, karaage, mini ramen, yakimeshi, sweet and sour pork, ebi mayo (small ones about Φ30), yakisoba. For the kids, the yakisoba was a bit spicy, but the sweet and sour pork, ebi mayo, tenshinhan, and ramen were delicious. The toilet was Japanese style only. My child succeeded for the first time, but a child around 5 at the next table couldn't do it and went home early. The food: karaage was average. But the others were delicious. Will repeat again. Seems like PayPay or cash only. The staff were the manager, a young-looking male in the kitchen, and someone who seemed to be the manager's wife on the floor? The customer service was not abnormal at all like other people write, rather it gave a very good impression! Even though everyone was regulars, I was able to spend time without feeling like an outsider! The yakimeshi had plenty of eggs and was especially delicious, so I also ordered takeout. Going again!
View on GoogleIt looks like a few cars can be parked in front of the shop Ordered the large ramen and fried rice set (1000 yen) and gyoza (240 yen) It's a very orthodox town Chinese restaurant Stable in quantity, taste, and price Young people might feel a tinge of lacking Ramen is a normal soy sauce type and not greasy Fried rice had a bit too much egg and was thoroughly cooked so it felt a bit stiff, but not to the extent of being bothersome Gyoza had a decent amount of garlic kick, and the size was a bit small
