Right in front of the mountain-side roundabout at 南海岸和田駅 is a place whose name is, surprisingly, すし・うどん I previously wrote about how their daily set meal was such great value, but I haven't had it even once since then. The interior is very spacious, there's almost no wait, and the food comes out very quickly, so I've eaten here many times. Of course, they have sushi and udon, as well as soba. They offer their regular soba, and stone-ground soba made with Hokkaido buckwheat. This time, I ordered egg-drop soba and a kani-kama salad roll. They were ready about 5 minutes after I ordered. Sushi is also available for takeout. Starting with these assortments, you can also choose sushi from 4 pieces, and makizushi from 1 roll. It's very close to 岸和田駅. I ordered the seafood chirashi set for lunch. The broth was delicious.

I had the standard nigiri for 600円 and tanuki soba for 500円. The total was 1,210円 including tax. There's no kake soba. Is the sushi rice shaped by machine? There was a wait at noon, even on a weekday. Honestly, the prices are high and satisfaction is low. I should have chosen the value set meal.

The broth is piping hot, and the tekka maki for 200円 is satisfying. The spacious counter is nice.
