First visit. Both of the nearby sushi restaurants I wanted to go to were full, and I desperately wanted to have sushi, so I visited Sushi-ei which I had been curious about! Didn't know the parking lot so I asked the master and he said park on the road in front. Entered thinking it's an unusual shop. There were no other customers so I sat in the middle seat at the counter, and while looking at the menu and thinking for a short while, looked at our faces and chuckled, As if to say isn't your order ready yet?. Our place is more expensive than XX shop! But our place is tastier though!! he remarked. Thinking he has a bad vibe, ordered sushi, tempura, and sashimi. The tempura was rock hard. I think tempura eaten at an izakaya or home is more delicious. For sushi, I had the recommended seared kinmedai, but it had an extremely strong fishy odor, so I had one piece and left the rest. When my boyfriend ordered squid and octopus, He said, You're like a woman!! When asked why, he replied, Squid, octopus, and pumpkin are foods women like, right!? Watching me and my boyfriend making disgusted faces, smiling... My boyfriend no longer felt like drinking alcohol, drank just one cup and finished... Felt very bad, and thought the recommended kinmedai sushi was probably given as unsold leftovers because it's not bustling. Felt very bad, and disappointed. The bill was first-class though. Very disappointing.

I always eat at the counter, and both the master and staff have great personalities, and they always respond politely with a smile, making it easy to talk. It's very comfortable and a shop that makes you want to go over and over 😌 Thank you truly as always for the delicious food 🥰 I'll let you go again 😊
