On my way back from visiting Kumedadera Temple, I was strolling around Kumeda Pond and happened upon this museum. It's free to enter, and there's a community room on the second floor, from which you get a lovely view of the pond.

Materials on the history of water use at Kumeda Pond are on display. Sitting on the engawa veranda in front of the building is very calming. I think it'd be really interesting to stop by before or after walking around the pond.

The view from the second-floor room was the best! Mt. Izumi Katsuragi was completely covered in clouds☁, but that was mystical in its own way! Seeing the mountains reflected upside down on the surface of Kumeda Pond cleansed my soul.
