See all reviews ↗This is one of the most famous festivals in Japan. It was so cool and fun actually. The most exciting part was where the large danjiri are pulled at high speed around corners. There is carpenter (Daikugata) dancing on top of the gloat while it is moving. There's a vibrant and exhilarating atmosphere filled with rythmic drumming, flute music, and chants of the danjiri pullers
