You can tell it’s a local favourite the moment you walk in. The walls are filled with autographs and there’s a steady flow of people who seem to know exactly what they’re here for. I went for the whitebait set which came both raw and cooked, along with tempura of lotus root and sardines. The whitebait was fresh and delicate, and having it prepared in different ways made the meal feel thoughtful. My partner had the grilled fish of the day, hokke and it was done simply and well. Generous portion, nicely grilled, and full of flavour. Both sets were under 2000 yen which felt like great value for the quality and portion size. Nothing flashy here. Just honest seafood, well prepared in a place that feels loved by the community around it.

View on GoogleDeep fried set served with Japanese rice, Miso soup and Small fish. It worth with the price that you paid.
View on GoogleGood food and the view at the pier is superb!
View on GoogleVery fresh seafood, with the restaurant just next to the sea, famous for their raw Shirasu-donburi, something very rare to see due to the raw Shirasu fish spoiling rather quickly, so it can only be eaten at places like this, their sashimi and kaisen-don are great also!
