You can trust a place that only sells udon to serve up some amazing udon. The Udon is springy and the sauce is amazing. Not to mention very affordable. Highly recommend adding the Tori side dish (chicken). Tender and fried to perfection.

Delicious udon! We visited during the Danjiri Matsuri, so the restaurant was very busy. Even though the menu was reduced during the Matsuri, we still had a lovely meal.

Stopped by a short while after weekday lunch time started and it's a popular shop close to full. Kominka-style exterior makes you think it might be intimidating, but entering the store gives a popular diner feel Ordered cold meat egg kijoyu udon 1076 yen and raw egg on rice 277 yen. The egg for tamago kake uses Oita Prefecture's luxury egg "Dragon's Egg". Homemade hand-made noodles have moderate firmness and tangle deliciously with raw soy sauce and sweet-salty meat. I forgot to put in condiments and finished eating as is, but maybe simply as is was the correct choice. After trying, I understood why it's popular
