Sep 26, 2026 Very beautiful Showa ambience, run by an elderly gentleman. The ¥530 hot cafe au lait was ok and nothing special but it gave me some time to rest my feet on a rainy day. Besides me only 4 elderly people chatting at 16:00 on a Saturday afternoon. I think it smelled like smoking? The owner was kind enough to let me charge my phone while most Japanese stores would decline so I am very grateful! Cash only.

Small cafe with good tea, toast, and pancake. Very friendly staff. Note that they do allow smoking.

Traditional pure kissaten, it's the best! Hot on the teppan, the omurice was fluffy, warm, and delicious! This vibe is unbeatable. A precious shop that is hard to find these days.

A now-rare pure kissaten! The interior is pure nostalgia of the Showa era, The master is a kind and quiet person ^ ^* I had the omurice and iced coffee. It was exquisite! Omurice served on a piping hot teppan, my first time experiencing this ^ ^* So delicious! Too delicious♪ The taste of ketchup rice wrapped in a thin omelet, the sauce..., in an instant I time-traveled to the Showa era. Such a sense of happiness ^ ^* Wonderful! The iced coffee was a taste I love with a well-balanced bitterness and acidity! I savored it slowly♪ The menu is extensive and makes me want to eat this and that!
