This was some of the best food we had in Japan. I got the salmon gratin and it was delicious. My father got the shrimp paprika and he said it was the best thing he has had so far in Japan. This is a hidden gem and I highly recommend it if you are near by. I would have given this place more stars if I could.
View on GoogleThe food was fantastic. Best meal we had while in Japan. The shrimp paprika and salmon au gratin were especially delicious. Great experience and so thankful to have found this place while on our travels.

View on GoogleAsahinatei à table" located right next to Kishiwada City Hall. The entrance gate design is very nice. Visited a little past noon. The interior of the store is a very calm atmosphere. There were also private rooms. The menu is explained one by one by the store staff. It is only written as salmon grill, but you can choose foil-wrapped or gratin, and the hamburg steak also had two kinds of sauces. I was curious about the roast beef chirashi so I ordered that. After a while, soup was served. It's a carrot soup you "eat". The contents seem to change depending on the occasion. It was a very creamy soup and very delicious. Next served was the appetizer. Here too, they carefully explained each dish one by one. In the front center, baked cheese of Shukurai. On the far left, eggplant and bacon cake salé. A cake that is not sweet. Everything was delicious. And the main course arrived. Roast beef chirashi. Western-style chirashi sushi. The combination of vinegared rice and roast beef is outstanding. The accent of lotus root is also effective. And then drinks and dessert. A cake baked with black tea made into orange peel with daidai orange. The black tea spreading in the mouth and the slightly bitter orange peel make it an adult taste, and this was also delicious. It was a very satisfying lunch time. Recommended for hospitality too.
