Visited on a Sunday afternoon Parking is available for 2 kei cars next to the building There are 3 spaces at the hut across the bridge As only the cafe menu was available, we ordered drinks and cake Thick apple pie and chiffon cake served with plenty of fresh cream relieved the fatigue after hiking The weekday menu differs from weekends and holidays Also, meal menus may end early depending on customer arrivals For group visits, phone reservation is recommended
View on GoogleI stopped by for lunch after visiting Chihaya Castle. As the reviews say, it is a very stylish and wonderful old folk house cafe. It turns out the cafe was made from a house that had been vacant for 50 years. The old chest of drawers in the dirt floor (doma) is said to have been beautifully restored from what was originally there, giving you a nostalgic feeling like returning to an old country home. The owner was very gentle, and the food, desserts, and coffee were all delicious. The murmur of the river flowing nearby was also pleasant, and since they can do barbecues by reservation, I wanted to come back again in summer.
View on GoogleI visited "Nofū", an old folk house renovated, which an acquaintance had visited once before. That day, I had the limited edition "Omu Curry Don" (omelette curry rice bowl). Although the exterior is in the style of an old house, the inside is beautifully renovated, the toilet is clean, and it is a very comfortable place. The owner is also friendly and unassuming, easy to talk to, and I liked it very much. Because of its location, it is along a road where many cyclists and bikers pass by, and bicycle racks are properly installed. Also, there is a space next to it where you can do "day camping", and I would like to try bringing ingredients and spending a relaxing day with friends once.
View on GoogleI went by bicycle taking about 3-4 hours! The owner's dad is too kind! Everyone was nice and I really enjoyed it This time I had the katsudon and cheesecake. The volume and deliciousness of the katsudon were top-notch! The katsudon was topped with a thickened sauce and was truly delicious! I want to go again
View on GoogleThe owner is friendly. There was no lunch since it was a weekday, but I had the "Sujikon Curry Don". The tendon meat was exceptionally delicious. It would be nice to come by bicycle or motorbike. Next time I want to go on Saturday or Sunday and have lunch. It is located very close to the Nankai Bus "Kobukuchi Bus Stop".
