We ordered their 8-course set dinner and every dish was a delight, both in terms of the presentation and taste. The price is on the higher side but for the quality and quantity you get, it's worth every yen.
View on GoogleI have been visiting kiichi since 2015, and it is a must stop every time we visit Osaka. Just 30 min train ride from Namba station this resturant is a must visit. The chef personally curates evey dish using regional and seasonal ingredients. The omakase usually starts with in house made tofu in delicious dashi. The dashi which is what the resturant is known for is deep and flavourful. This is followed by numerous Japanese starters, fresh sashimi (the sea urchin tasted like pure butter), char grilled fish (the fish literally melted as it touched my tongue), grilled wagyu beef, regional steamed vegetables, rice cooked with seasonal herbs and lastly desert. Every dish is an experience for your palette and everytime I visit I get treated to tastes that I have never experienced before. Although the staff speaker limited English. The food speaks for itself. This is a must visit. Worth every yen.
View on GoogleThe service was great. Staff was friendly and welcoming. Food presentation was perfect. Each piece is carefully prepared with intricate texture and taste. Highly recommend to anyone interested in Kaiseki ryori.
View on GoogleThere is no parking lot next to the restaurant! There are two parking lots inside the narrow alley in the back, but they are in a location that first-timers won't understand. There are no parking instructions on the website, and since it was my first time coming, I didn't know where to park, and unknowingly entered the apartment parking lot right next to the restaurant. I was handed a map to the parking lot by the restaurant staff, but the road in front of the restaurant is a road that easily gets congested, so I couldn't get out, and even after finally getting out, the surrounding roads are also confusing, so I ended up running around in circles to various places. It is recommended to come to this restaurant by train if possible. Because the station is right next door. As expected, from the meal tray to the presentation, everything was wonderful, and the service was polite! It's a good restaurant.
View on GoogleI used it for my mother's 88th birthday celebration. We were provided with table seating in a private room on the 2nd floor. The atmosphere was very calm and we were able to spend a relaxing time. The food was also wonderful in appearance and tableware for each dish, and the taste was very satisfying. My mother, who usually has a small appetite, enjoyed her meal with a smile. The parking lot is a little difficult to understand, but it is on the back side of the restaurant. The people at the restaurant are also very pleasant. Thank you for explaining the food and answering our questions politely.
