A mountain with an elevation of 897.1m in Kawachinagano City. It's recommended for beginner hikers and has several hiking courses. The especially recommended season is autumn. From mid-October to late November, the summit is covered in a field of golden flowering Japanese silver grass. In summer, you can see lush green silver grass. Halfway up the mountain (elevation 500m) is the “Shikisaikan,” popular as a rest spot for hikers. There's no shop or vending machine, but it's a good place to eat a packed lunch, and you can also gather information here.
View on GoogleI stopped by on my way down from Mt. Iwawaki. On a bench on the deck, there was an older lady lying down, saying “Sorry for being so lazy.” Apparently the big Japanese wingnut tree you look up at while lying down is quite a sight. There's also a spot to get water; it was a nice rest stop.
View on GoogleIt's along the Iwawaki Trail leading to the summit of Mt. Iwawaki. There's also spring water, so it's perfect for a break. However, the tree branches overhead have grown too long, so the view is limited.
View on GoogleSome spots have poor footing, so I think it's best to climb with proper gear. The observation deck has a spring water spot, and the view is decent. Perfect for working off a lack of exercise.
View on GoogleThe view is the best‼️ The night view looks like it'd be great too
