Excellent curries and nan breads. Gracious host.
View on GoogleIt's a curry shop located inside the Forest right after getting off at Nankai Mikkaichicho Station. Drawn by the inviting storefront atmosphere and the wonderful aroma of curry spices, I went in. Menus and tastes are very ordinary, feeling like "an Indian or Nepali curry shop you see in town." The price range is a bit high, but naan is all-you-can-eat, so that makes up for it! (Some set menus don't have all-you-can-eat naan, so check carefully) I ordered the Sita Set. You can choose 2 kinds of curry from daily special, keema, chicken, shrimp, and vegetables. Added to that, it comes with a salad and all-you-can-eat naan, making it a basic set. Prices aren't super cheap. For this content, there are plenty of restaurants where you can eat for under 1000 yen, but because of the good atmosphere in the restaurant and the kind feel of the staff, it's worth revisiting. Payment accepts PayPay, and takeout menus are substantial. Also, spices and beans are sold by the gram. I thought it looked convenient for making original curry at home.
View on GoogleDelicious curry and sweet-tasting delicious naan Naan is all-you-can-eat with a set The partitions for infection prevention are opaque, which is a bit... Well, it has nothing to do with the taste though
View on GoogleBeing Indian, they don't use beef. (I didn't know!) The curry is almost exclusively vegetable or chicken. Keema is said to be minced pork and chicken. I ordered the Dhanyawad Set, which the manager highly recommends, and the naan is huge! It unexpectedly fit in my stomach, but I was full. The curry is quite yellow, giving that kind of impression. Spiciness comes in 4 levels (mild, medium, hot, super hot), and since it said "Mild can be eaten even by children," it was hard to order (due to adult pride), so I ordered the 3rd level, medium, and it was plenty spicy. The flavor was quite good, but the portions were too much for middle-aged people. I'd appreciate it if they made smaller portions for a lower price. As for beers, they have ones you'd want to try at least once as a topic of conversation, like India's Maharaja and Godfather, and Nepal's Everest. The wine is also Indian wine. Even looking at the flyer I got later, beer and wine menus weren't written down, but I feel like drinkers might show up if I write this... Come to think of it, they had dessert-style naans like red bean paste naan and chocolate naan. The range of attacks is quite broad. I don't know how it's brewed, but the coffee had a firm layer of foam covering the surface. It was pretty good.
View on GoogleUsed for lunch before going to a client's office. Directly connected to the station, extremely convenient. There were two Indian gentlemen. It looks like naan is all-you-can-eat. However, I was in the mood for rice, so I got the curry rice. You can choose 2 kinds of curry from 4 types. I chose the vegetable curry and today's curry (chicken and okra). This curry is rich and truly delicious. It also has plenty of ginger, making it perfect for women. The lassi was thick and perfect for the curry. If it were nearby, it's a taste I'd keep visiting.
