I visited avoiding lunchtime. Inside the restaurant has an atmosphere, but It is a pity that many customers were flashy. The footwear of people getting up on the tatami mats was littered messily Even though I came to worship Kanshinji temple, I thought, what is this! Well, it has nothing to do with me though. I had warabimochi for 550 yen and spent a relaxing time. I returned home after looking closely at Enku Buddha near the entrance. Next time is zenzai ~
View on GoogleA shop located in the mountains with a good atmosphere, the wind is pleasant when it blows! I wanted to eat warabimochi, but unfortunately it was sold out! It is recommended to go to warabimochi in the morning. This time I ordered zenzai, tokoroten, nyumen, and abekawamochi. Zenzai was delicious with less sweetness! Tokoroten made honey, delicious! Abewaka mochi is also soft and recommended. It was very delicious and matched when I ate kinako of abekawamochi on tokoroten! I will go to eat warabimochi next time! Toilet is Japanese style, so please be careful if you can only do it in Western style!
View on GoogleAn old folk house tea house (dining place) in front of Kanshin-ji gate in Kawachinagano The inside of the store has table seats immediately after entering, and tatami rooms along the river on the right hand side. Since I entered shortly after opening, I enjoyed a relaxing and quaint atmosphere in the tatami room. Ordered cold somen and warabimochi, and enjoyed it deliciously while feeling summer a lot in the electric fan. Popular shop with rich natural environment and close from the city, visitors do not stop. I would like to visit in a different season next time. Thank you for the meal.
View on GoogleA sweet shop opposite Kanshin-ji in Kawachinagano City Old folk house has a very quaint and good atmosphere! It was inside as if time-tripping. They said there is no menu table, only written on hanging tags. Ordered warabimochi, abekawamochi, zenzai It was delicious.
View on GoogleJapanese-style tea house using an old Japanese house. The front is a long table of architectural waste materials, and the back is a tatami room. The inside of the store is wider than the impression seen from the outside. The menu is partially changed in summer and winter. Ordered zoni and Abekawamochi. Since you can serve a cup of tea first, wait for completion while drinking. Zoni is a clear soup containing three square roasted mochi. Ingredients are tororo kelbu and wakame, enoki mushrooms, mitsuba. Kanto and Tohoku style zoni felt fresh to me who is accustomed to Kansai-style zoni. The seasoning is quite delicate. You may not feel the taste unless you concentrate on eating. A piece of yuzu is submerged at the bottom, and the faintly drifting citrus flavor feels good. Abekawamochi is 5. Kinako is plenty and it is a sweet and happy taste. Mochi is divided into bite-sized pieces and warm. It is soft enough to be grabbed with chopsticks. A small kettle also comes with the ordered item. About 3 cups of tea are contained, so I think it is a sufficient amount for one person. The inside of the store is very quiet, partly because there were no customers just after opening. There is no BGM and it is about the sound cooked in the kitchen. In winter, hibachi is also placed, and the nostalgic way of taking warmth which cannot be experienced much in modern times is also good. Authentic air feeling not found in fake old folk house cafe, simple and calm atmosphere. I would like to recommend it to travelers from overseas. According to locals, about 30 years ago, the front road was noisy with the roar of a runaway bike heading toward the pass which cannot be imagined from the current quiet environment, and it seems that it was not a state where you could drink tea relaxedly. No parking lot. Basically, it is good to visit as a set with Kanshin-ji temple opposite.
