Very Very friendly and helpful staff members!! I used to stay in Kawachinagano for a year and last year i returned to this awesome city and also made a brief pitstop at this Sake Store. I bought a reginaly surced bottle of Sake as a present for my grandpa and it tasted delicious!! Next time im 100% gonna come again. Greetings from Germany.

Just a few minutes' walk from Kawachinagano Station, a streetscape dating back to the Edo period. This long-established brewery, over 300 years old, is a traditionalist that carefully brews each bottle one by one using the skills of Nanbu toji! It's along the Koya Kaido, with parking available. I've met yet another great sake. Definitely go! ヾ(*’O’*)/

Just as I was wondering what to bring as a gift for a meal with relatives, I remembered Amanosake. I'd long known it as an Osaka sake but never really got around to trying it. At the brewery you can taste 2 kinds and buy, so I chose a brewery-exclusive sake. They also had sake kasu, tsukudani made with sake, pickled somen squash and so on, and unusually for me I bought those for home too💓 The sake I gave as a gift felt slightly thick when poured, and with its very fruity, rich rice umami, it was a huge hit — everyone said it was delicious❣️✨ I didn't notice the thickness myself, but they were really pleased, and I was relieved that my palate at the tasting was right ☺️ If you're going to taste, I recommend bringing someone who can drive. The sake, tsukudani and pickles I bought for home were also a big hit with my family❣️ I'm allergic to buckwheat, rice and chili peppers. One of the tsukudani is a bit spicy🌶️ I only tasted a little of the spicy one, and with my own white rice — Yukihikari rice polished to 58% — it was delicious‼️ The non-spicy one and the somen squash kasuzuke are tasty too, and make the rice🍚 go down so easily〜✨😆 Next time I'll give the tsukudani and such as gifts too❣️ The brewery, down a narrow street off the main road, sits among rows of old houses that make you feel like you've slipped back in time, and lots of sugidama hang inside the shop — wonderfully atmospheric. The parking🅿️ is next to the brewery's restaurant across the street, but the entrance and road are quite narrow, so with our car, about the size of a HiAce, we had to make multi-point turns to get in and out. Vehicles up to a HiAce can get in👍 The lot itself is fairly spacious and looks like it can fit 4 or 5 cars. The brewery's proprietress was friendly and told us all kinds of things about sake♪ I'd like to visit again😊

Big cars will have a hard time, so just park in the lot on the main street. A lively woman served us. The way she rattled off explanations about where the rice is grown and which yeast number is used — she's a real pro. Bought 2 bottles. Credit cards accepted. Give it a try.

It's in a calm part of town about a 5-minute walk from Kawachinagano Station. There's parking too. It's a historic building, so just looking around is fun. They have namazake you can only buy here, and they let you taste it, so I quite recommend it. This time I bought namazake, Amanosake Cider and more. The cider was refreshing and easy to drink too.
