"Lunch 11:00~15:00(L.O.14:00) Dinner 17:00~20:00(L.O.19:00) 萬鰻亭 交野星田店 is an "eel & Japanese cuisine restaurant" in Hoshida-kita, Katano City, Osaka Prefecture, serving authentic Kansai-style jiyaki eel and Japanese food. We are widely used by guests in the Katano, Hoshida, Neyagawa, and Hirakata areas looking for "Japanese lunch," "Japanese food in private rooms," "family-friendly Japanese restaurants," "Osaka gourmet," "delicious Japanese food," and "charcoal-grilled dishes." Our commitment begins with carefully purging live eels for 1〜2 days, then having a skilled 《eel master》 carefully fillet each fresh eel, slaughtered that morning, one by one in-house. Without steaming, they're grilled all at once over high heat…

I visited for dinner on May 3, 2026. It seemed to be a popular place, so I called to reserve, but they were already booked and couldn't take a reservation. Figuring it was worth a shot, I arrived by car about 1 hour before opening and was first in the parking lot. There was a waiting list at the entrance, and by writing my name on it I got the right (?) to enter, so I was able to go in as soon as it opened. (By the way, those with reservations were already written on that list, and we were 6th in line) After that, the parking lot was full before opening, so if you're coming by car, I recommend arriving early. As the other reviews and number of ★ suggest, the food was very delicious; in particular the eel on the main unaju was crispy on the outside and fluffy inside. The sauce was restrained, yet the flavor soaked well into the eel, and I enjoyed it to the last bite. I'd definitely like to visit again. Finally, about payment: besides cash, PayPay was accepted. (For pay-type apps, it seems to be PayPay only at the moment) They said credit cards and e-money are also accepted, just for reference.

It's a newly opened place, so I'd been curious, and finally got to go. The atmosphere was nice, and the staff were polite and pleasant. Above all, it was truly delicious. The eel skin was crisp and nicely fatty; I want to go again.

The 交野星田店 newly opened, so I went. The eel was plump and super delicious. The rice being fluffy and warm earned extra points too. The parking lot was spacious and easy to park in. The interior had a Japanese feel, was clean, and was calm and comfortable — a space that makes you want to go back.

萬鰻亭 (ならやま location), which I happened to visit once, also opened in my area, so I went to eat. The menu and prices were the same. The eel wasn't thick, but it was crispy with nice fat.

The atmosphere is really nice, it feels like a somewhat upscale place It's eel so naturally a bit pricey, but it was delicious beyond the price I'd like to go again😊
