The morning set is 600 yen. If you choose the alcohol set, you can pick one alcoholic drink from the entire menu (Japanese whisky included), and it comes with 3 small snack dishes. It was such an incredible bargain that I was surprised. The morning set seems to be available only on Sundays from 8 to 12. The interior has a Showa-to-Heisei atmosphere and decor—a cozy space that made me feel nostalgic.
View on GoogleI went in thinking it was a classic kissaten-type place, but it turned out to be a retro-cute shop♡ It seems loved by regulars too—besides us, the other 2 groups were regulars. Inside, the retro tableware and decor give it a somehow nostalgic atmosphere. I could enjoy my morning set at a leisurely pace. I ordered the morning curry because it was unusual. They even did art on the coffee, so I'm satisfied♡
View on GoogleRight by Kawachi-Iwafune Station. A café & bar also a short walk from Kawachi-Mori Station. When you enter, there are counter seats on the right and two 4-person tables on the left. During daylight hours it can be used as a café, and the morning sets and lunches are very delicious. Sweets like cakes are also handmade, and I recommend those too. At night it becomes more like a bar/izakaya, and the food there is also delicious with a wide variety. There's a decent selection of alcohol too. The female manager working behind the counter has a nice vibe, so you can enjoy eating and drinking. Despite being near the station, there aren't many shops in the area, so it's a valuable place. Note that the inside is non-smoking, but there's an ashtray outside the shop.
