A lunch you can eat for 1,000 yen including tax!? Doubting my eyes, I went by bicycle. Akadashi miso soup was amazingly delicious. On top of that, I was surprised they even included chawanmushi... 😭 The simmered side dish had a gentle taste that was completely to my preference. So gentle, it almost makes you want to cry. (?) I want this shop to keep going forever. Thank you for a wonderful time.

Coming back from hospital examination, lunch was supposed to be prepared deli food bought at the supermarket, but the words 'Lunch served here' at the storefront made me wander in. I'm the only customer. Shokado 1000 yen. Rice topped with yukari seasoning, sashimi, tempura, simmered vegetables, chawanmushi, akadashi, pickles. Sashimi quality is average, tempura could be a bit crispier and crunchier, not a fan of akadashi, but rice is soft and delicious. Costs money to include chawanmushi too.

Lunch set for 1000 yen was delicious. What's missing is probably the atmosphere? Making shop decorations slightly more luxurious and having BGM would be good for both eyes and ears.

The osechi ryori made by reservation at the end of the year is super delicious, so I'm a repeat customer. The futomaki sold exclusively for Setsubun is also a traditional simple one, but the rice is very delicious and reasonably priced, recommended! Have been buying it every year since seeing it a few years ago. A personal hidden gem 👍🏼
