I went to Utsuwa in Kaizuka! The parking lot was full and I waited a little, but entered shortly after. This time I had toriten bukkake (cold). A type where you can firmly feel the chewiness and elasticity of the udon. Super satisfying to eat. The bukkake broth has a gentle taste. It's good to enjoy while adjusting the condiments. The chicken tempura was of course freshly fried, crispy, juicy, and delicious. Good service and atmosphere made it a shop I want to go to again.

Toriten nama-shoyu is a consistent bowl! If you think it's good, please press the store save button! 【Visit Info】 ・Visit date: Sunday ・Visit time: around 12:00 ・Waiting time: about 15 min ・Serving time: about 15 min from order ・Seating: 10 counter seats + 1 table for 4 【Order】 ・Toriten nama-shoyu udon (1,050 yen) 【Impressions】 ・Noodles are firm and chewy type ・Easy to eat, peace of mind for chewy-type lovers ・Nama-shoyu is slightly thinner than usual → Too much poured? About that is just right ・4 chicken tempuras ・Taste is rich, batter is crispy ・A finish that really hits the spot for chicken tempura lovers 【Payment】 ・Cash only 【Parking】 ・Available for 5 cars ・Full at the time of arrival at 12 → If using a car, visiting a little earlier than 12 is recommended 【Overall Evaluation】 Chewy noodles with refreshing nama-shoyu. Combined with rich-flavored & crispy chicken tempura, a well-balanced bowl. The lunch peak is a bottleneck for parking, so car users must adjust their time.

Visited around 13:00. Full, so waited a little. Seated after about 10 minutes. Visited because it's listed as a Tabelog 100 Famous Store. Since I didn't know what was recommended, I ordered the cold chiku-tama-ten bukkake and egg on rice set. Lunch seems to come with an affordable rice option. Udon arrived after waiting about 10 minutes. The firmness of the udon was hard and to my liking! Strength of chewiness is about 7 out of 10 scales. Good. The tempura was also crispy on the outside, and among the three, the chicken tempura was delicious. The volume is normal, slightly small so men might want large size. Even women were eating large portions. Although it has poor access, those who like strong chewy udon, why not try it once? Anyone know noodles with strong chewiness? w

The owner was very friendly and the shop had a warm atmosphere! Reiwa udon recommended by the owner has a lot of tempura on top of bukkake udon and is very voluminous. The udon is chewy and slippery down the throat, very delicious. The tempura is also crispy, and you can tell everything is carefully made.

【Ordered Menu】 Toritake-Tamaten Bukkake Udon 1100 yen Large serving +121 yen Kayaku rice set +242 yen About 6 minutes walk from JR Higashi-Kaizuka Station. Selected as Udon Hyakumeiten 2024. A solitary udon exhibition ahead of the residential area from the station. Located along the main road, and a parking lot is also provided next to the store. The inside is cozy with counter seats centered and table seats as well. A calm air flows. There were photos in the menu book, making it easy to understand. Ordered Toritake-tamaten bukkake large serving and kayaku rice set. ◆ Toritake-Tamaten Bukkake Udon The noodles are thick, firmly tightened with cold water, and are strong noodles with powerful chewiness and elasticity. It has a slippery stretch, and the throat feel was also nice. The broth is poured from the start, and the amount is a bit small. Despite the light seasoning, it's a sophisticated taste where the gorgeousness of bonito overlaps with the gentle umami of kelp and dried sardines. The chicken tempura uses thigh meat, and when bitten, juiciness overflows with meat juice. The crispy and fragrant batter has a solid base flavor. Chikuwa tempura has a crispy, light batter, with a fluffy texture inside where the fish flavor can be firmly felt. The quality of the tempura was impressive. Kayaku rice contains standard ingredients such as chikuwa, thin fried tofu, burdock root, and carrots. Cooked slightly soft with the umami of the soup thoroughly soaked in, and went well with the udon. Thank you for the meal.
