I can't recommend this place more. The traditional Osaka food is fantastic, and the prices are unbelievably low. However, the best part about this little store is the family running it. They are the most cheerful, kindest, and most contagiously happy people I've ever met. Take time to stop by here, you won't regret it. It's truly a treasure of a place. I can't wait to go again.

It was my first time going, but just as rumored, the husband, wife, and son were lovely. Since it was drizzling, they doubled up the bags for us and brought out chairs. No wonder it's popular! Although the shopping street itself is a bit quiet, the tempura shop in front was also popular. People from Nishisansho are envious. There are lots of menu items, so it might be better to go once, get a menu, and decide slowly? Depending on the day, there are service menus and discounted items. When I went, the Hiroshima-style mix modern-yaki was the service menu. It had plenty of meat and squid and was delicious. It was cut into easy-to-eat sizes, which made it easy to eat.

A faultless 5 stars. This was a restaurant that made me think there are so many nice people in Osaka. I came from Mie. When I looked for a place to eat near the business hotel I was staying at, I found an okonomiyaki restaurant with unusually high reviews, so I came to try it. I came thinking, "Is this one of those places where you get a discount for leaving a review?", but it was nothing like that at all. Both the husband and wife were extremely attentive and kind. It was overflowing with hospitality. I was truly moved. The takoyaki wasn't round; it was in a dashimaki-tamago style. Hearing that made me curious, so I bought two. This was a huge victory. It was delicious. I bought a total of 5 items: 2 takoyaki, pork tama, oyatsu-yaki, and yakisoba for about 1,500 yen. We ate them at a nearby park and finished them in no time between the two of us. While waiting, they called out to us and said it was fine to sit and eat the fried food we bought at the opposite fry shop. They even gave us disposable chopsticks. They talked to us with the familiarity of a friend's parents. Locals and tourists were coming in ceaselessly. After I finished buying, the owner came all the way outside, waved both hands, and called out, "Thank you very much!!", which made me anxious, thinking, I only spent 1,500 yen, right?? Even at high-end restaurants, you aren't treated this well very often. You can feel the human touch of Osaka. This was the most satisfying part of my trip. I definitely want you to go and see it.

Even buying this much was only 1,560 yen. I couldn't possibly finish it all by myself, so I'll save the yakisoba for tomorrow's breakfast. Both the master and his wife are very cheerful and fun people, and they warmed my heart for a brief moment. I envy those who live near such a restaurant. From now on, whenever I come to Osaka, I'll make the APA Hotel my regular stay and keep coming back!

Delicious, cheap, and pleasant—I received three, no, four or five beats of emotion and memories. In April, I went to Kadoma, Osaka Prefecture, for work from Kanagawa Prefecture. I stayed for two nights, but I was busy with work and only ate convenience store bento boxes, so before going home, I looked up places wanting to eat something Osaka-like and thought there was a highly rated restaurant near the hotel, so I took out okonomiyaki. It was only about a 10-minute visit, but I was genuinely moved. When I arrived at the restaurant, the wife immediately called out to me all by herself and kindly explained the menu. When I was hesitating because there were so many menu items, the son appeared, just coming home from school! After shouting out a loud greeting, he immediately put down his bag and politely and clearly explained the menu to make it easy for me to understand since I was hesitating. After that, the cheerful husband also came over, and we had a fun conversation. I took out Hiroshima-yaki and 3 oyatsu-yaki, and because of work, I ate them in the car on my way home the next day, and despite being so cheap, they were chewy and supremely delicious. I definitely declare I will go eat there again if I go to Osaka! It was only a 10-minute stay, but it turned my dull 2-night, 3-day Osaka business trip into a very pleasant journey. I want a son like that to become my daughter's husband. Please keep doing your best cheerfully and happily.
