I visited for lunch. This time I ordered 1.5 portions of the meat curry udon and a medium bowl of rice. It's a menu typical of an old-school diner, but it's a combination thatしっかり (solidly) fills you up. The meat curry udon had a flavor where you could really taste the umami of the dashi and the richness of the curry, and it was very delicious. The udon noodles also had a chewy texture and were very filling, and even with the 1.5 portions, I didn't get tired of it until the end. There was a decent amount of meat, giving a sense of satisfaction. The curry udon soup goes exceptionally well with rice, and I think ordering rice on the side lets you enjoy it deliciously until the very end. The combination of the soup's richness and the dashi flavor made me keep eating the rice. The interior has a calm, old-school atmosphere, and I think its casual accessibility is part of its charm. It's the perfect restaurant for a lunch when you want to eat a hearty meal, and I feel like I understand why it has been loved locally for a long time. I would like to use it again if I am in the neighborhood.

This is a restaurant I go to often. It's an old-school Japanese-style diner. The udon and soba are light and have a comforting taste. The mochi items like ohagi are also exquisite. (^^)

It feels like there are many diners named "Tokiwa" in the downtown areas of Kanto, but in Kansai, you quite often see diners named "Rikimochi" and "Rikimochi Shokudo". We had the "Katsudon" at "Rikimochi" near the Kadomashi station. There is pepper on the table, so this is the type where you put plenty of it on the katsudon. Of course, they also have mochi items like "Rikimochi Udon" and "Ohagi". It was my first visit in a while, but the interior had been renovated and looked extremely clean.

I used it around 14:00 on Sunday. About half of the seats were empty. I ordered the tempura nabeyaki udon with one grilled mochi as a topping and sekihan (red bean rice). The nabeyaki udon is topped with one shrimp tempura, an egg, meat, kamaboko (fish cake), and green onions. It seems that the sekihan can also be warmed up for you. Individually packaged gomashio (sesame salt) was also provided on the table. The grilled mochi had a nice, moderate char on it. ・Tempura nabeyaki udon 880 yen ・Grilled mochi 90 yen ・Sekihan 260 yen I ordered the oyako-don and mini udon. ・Oyako-don 730 yen ・Mini udon 370 yen I ordered the katsudon and mini udon. ・Katsudon 850 yen ・Mini udon 370 yen

[Rikimochi Shokudo] In Kadoma, I had only ever had lunch inside Lalaport, and I got information about a cheap and delicious restaurant around the station! On the way back from shopping, I immediately decided to visit! From among the various menus, I had the katsudon and mini udon, which I make my go-to on a first visit! Just as expected, the tender simmered cutlet soaked in dashi and egg, the soup-drenched rice, and the udon with its old-fashioned, gentle seasoning were all very delicious! Inside the restaurant, the conversations and atmosphere loved by the locals were very comforting! It is the ultimate dish in every way!
