Feels like a good old Showa-era sushi restaurant Extremely good with an abundant variety of single dishes. Crowded with regulars, but a good shop where even a first-timer can feel comfortable and enjoy it.

A shop I happened to find while walking down the street. Used it for lunch. Ordered the chirashizushi. Both the toppings and rice were delicious and satisfying ♪

Located nearby just about 270m straight from the Toyoko Inn where I was staying, in a small alley with an old-school townscape. Initially I planned to take a train to a far-away sushi restaurant, but it would take travel time and considerable waiting time, so since Google ratings were good, I had lunch there. 🐙 It came with an octopus leg otoshi (appetizer), and the clear soup was homemade with scraps of white fish 🐟 inside. There was no menu, but seeing someone at the counter next to me eating it, I asked for the same, and the chef understood and made it for me. Another elderly regular at the counter was talking cheerfully. I prefer Tachizushi, which has more unpretentious charm and soul, over conveyor belt sushi. The assistant was also efficient, and when I tried to order red miso soup, they kindly told me, "Clear soup is already included." The octopus leg appetizer was also delicious. It made me want to drink Japanese sake. The sashimi of the person sitting next to me at the counter also looked delicious. I'll drop by for dinner next time. It was my first time in Kadoma, but there seems to be plenty of downtown gourmet food nearby, I'm looking forward to it.

Having the chef greet you with a husky "Rasshai!" is addictive at this long-established sushi restaurant 😁 The nigiri is delicious, but the side dishes (ate) are also abundant and make the drinks go down smooth 😋 If timing is right, they'll even make things like simmered akou fish, and not just the taste and price, but the customer service is top-notch 😚 The occasional drawback is that it's hard to get in without a reservation 😅

A bustling shop crowded with locals where the counter fills up quickly. I went with a reservation and it was fully booked. The chef with a husky voice welcomes you.
