I was blessed enough to experience the Aburiya Restaurant recently. First things first, the restaurant is very clean and warm. It is a very comfortable environment. I started with the Ultimate Whale Feast / 究極のクジラ料理の饗宴 . Every piece of sashimi was cured to perfection. This fish comes with a small side of sarasakujira/ さらしくじら. I ordered yet another dish of sarasakujira, yukhoe, kushikatsu, and kujira tataki. The food was so delicious I forgot to take pictures of the kushikatsu and kujira tataki. Almost every dish is paired with fresh onions and greens. This was very refreshing for the palette. I paired my meal with umeshu / 梅酒. Sarasakujira - very light flavor, distinct, the onions and mustard go together perfectly. A very light comfort food. Yukhoe - lovely tartare. Full-bodied, blessed, and bold flavor with sesame and radish for spice. Kushikatsu - layered, dark flavor; much like liver. Comforting, fried food. Very happy for the onions, again. Kujira tataki - warm and soothing; lovely notes of ginger Overall a great experience. It's completely worth it. Please enjoy yourself!

A rare nationwide shop where you can enjoy "chicken" and "whale" together. The yakitori is fragrant and juicy, conveying the goodness of the ingredients firmly. The whale dishes are odorless and easy to eat, and menus you don't usually get to taste like sashimi and aburi are enriched, leading to new discoveries. The interior has a calm atmosphere, and the staff's customer service is also polite. With good access just a walk from Kadomashi Station, it's perfect for everyday use as well as drinking parties. It was a spot I'd want anyone who likes chicken dishes as well as those trying whale dishes for the first time to visit at least once

All the food was delicious 🤤 Centered around chicken dishes, they serve freshly grilled food! Some of the alcohol was unique to this shop and very delicious! The prices might be a little high 🤏🏻 Even so, I was very satisfied ✨

Everything I ordered was delicious ✨ The condiments in the wooden box also somehow felt delicious. The sashimi of whale crown meat was also irresistible 🤤 Personally, it's a shop that makes me want to go any number of times.

Kadoma City, Osaka - Chicken and Whale Aburiya Visiting Kadoma City, Osaka, I searched online for a place to eat after work, found Chicken and Whale Aburiya, and made an online reservation. Moving from the work site, there were lots of parking lots near the shop, but with bad timing only places about a 10-minute walk away were available. Coin parking lots are quite abundant in the immediate vicinity, but many were full. Arrived a little earlier than the reservation time, met up with my companion in front, and went inside. The 1st floor has a pretty cramped 7-seat counter. Since I chose and reserved "tatami seating" for seats through the online reservation, I thought I'd be led to the 2nd floor, but I was suddenly told inside the shop on the day, "Reservations for 2 are counter only," which was a shock. It is unclear what the purpose of making a reservation and being able to specify seats was. If 2 people meant the counter, it would have been nice to receive a reply by email, but no email reached me. Since I am claustrophobic, I cannot relax at a narrow counter right next to each other. Unluckily, being seated in the middle with neighbors on both sides gave me a terrible feeling. I would follow the shop rules, and though I thought about canceling and going home, I came an hour away from the company and thought better of canceling, so I endured it. I hadn't looked closely online, and it said all seats are smoking allowed, but since it was table seating I thought I could endure it, but it turned out to be counter seating and the person next to me was a heavy smoker, which was the worst. The customer next to me was smoking and it smelled. Even though it was an e-cigarette, it had a pretty foul odor. The aroma of the food was ruined. I think I could have endured it if it were table seating, but the smell was intense. The counter seats are too cramped. I can't relax. It was too uncomfortable, but the staff's friendliness is outstanding. There were no hot towels, and the seats became counter seats, but partway through a helper seemed to have arrived, and all the staff's customer service was wonderful and comfortable. The food had a heavy tobacco smell, so I don't remember the aroma of the food all that much, but the yakitori was served grilled over charcoal. Served on small plates. Ordered yagen, gizzard, chicken thigh, chicken milt, and sasami mentai. The whole menu is reasonably priced and feels great. The skewered whale katsu and bacon were also nostalgic. The finishing chicken zosui is a satisfying dish. With a rich variety of various other menus, I'd like to repeat, but if it's smoking-ok and counter seats, I will definitely not repeat. The master and staff's friendliness was outstanding. It was a shop I'm extremely grateful to for warmly welcoming even first-time visitors.
