Beautiful people and beautiful food, the best udon I have had. The owners are kind and friendly.
View on GoogleFor me it was the worst food I had in Japan in last 10 days.

View on GoogleUpon entering the shop, a bright and energetic female staff member greeted us. The interior consists only of counter seating. Since I dropped by a little past 14:00, which is slightly late for lunch, there was only one other customer. Looking at the menu posted inside wondering what to order, everything looked delicious and I couldn't decide. Since it was another hot day, I decided to get cold udon, and when I asked the staff for a recommendation, they said the tsukimi tororo udon was recommended, so I ordered that. Wanting to eat just a little bit more, I also ordered dashimaki tamago a la carte. In about 10 minutes, the tsukimi tororo udon arrived. Purching the broth over it and mixing it vigorously before eating. The chewiness of the udon and the tororo (grated yam) go together exceptionally well. Shortly after, the dashimaki tamago also arrived. Being freshly cooked, it was piping hot all the way to the center, but seasoned with great elegance, making it supremely delicious. I'm also curious about their rice dishes so I'd like to visit again.
View on GoogleEnjoying exquisite udon in front of Hagurasaki Station! Stepping through the noren, an uncle and aunt warmly welcome you. It's a counter-only style with the kitchen in the center, where you can watch homemade noodles being made. Order from the menu pasted on the wall. I've been here many times, and the meat udon is recommended. The broth with a moderate sweetness wafts up with the steam. Taking a sip, a gentle umami gradually spreads, making it a comforting taste. The homemade noodles are thick, and the chewy texture is superb. There is plenty of meat inside too. Adding a little shichimi halfway through adds a spicy accent, allowing you to enjoy a different flavor. I ordered onigiri as a side dish. It came with two types of onigiri, sesame and nori, accompanied by takuan and a small side dish. This small side dish is delicious. There is no parking lot so please park in a nearby coin parking lot. Also, cash only.
