A small, cozy tonkatsu shop in town. The interior isn't large, but it has a warm atmosphere. Tonkatsu is fried after you order, so you can eat fresh, hot, and delicious tonkatsu. Large portions of rice are free, but refills are 100 yen per time. The white rice here is also delicious, so I end up getting a refill. Forgot to take pictures of the food, my bad... Revisit Ordered the ginger pork set and a side of fried chicken. The ginger pork meat is a little firm, but delicious. This restaurant is definitely best known for its tonkatsu.

Since I love tonkatsu, I decided to drop by for lunch. The tonkatsu sauce was the kind you pour on yourself afterwards. The tartar sauce that came with the mixed fry set was delicious. Personally, I'd like a bit more shredded cabbage, but can't be helped (laughs) Still, all the fried foods were nicely fried and delicious.

A dish presented by a family that has dedicated themselves seriously to tonkatsu. A tonkatsu set meal beloved by Japanese people, carrying on the soul from the Showa era to the Reiwa era. Living in Tokyo, the only places where I get the chance to eat this volume of tonkatsu are around Meguro. I think it's a hidden gem in Osaka.

Hearing it was founded 45 years ago, I definitely wanted to go! So I dropped by for lunch. It was run by two people: a cheerful and cute woman... and a veteran chef... That kind of vibe. When I asked later... it turned out to be a grandfather and grandchild duo. In a beautifully maintained interior... while waiting... you can hear the nice sound of tonkatsu frying. This time I had the Tonkatsu Set (Superior). It was a beautiful golden brown, and the meat was not only tender but sweet! I could really feel the sweetness of the pork. It was crispy and truly delicious. The accompanying salad... shredded cabbage... felt like a careful, uncompromised meal. They also have takeout and bento boxes, which is convenient when you're short on time. Next time... I think I'd like to try the mixed fry set. It really was delicious ♡ There is parking space in front of the shop They also have an Instagram. Seems they're Hanshin Tigers fans. Lol

Looks like they've raised their prices. I ordered the fillet cutlet (superior) set and the fried shrimp set. I can't eat this much rice with just 2 shrimp... I wish they'd lower the quality slightly and give us 3 instead~
