It's a very local and niche Izakaya. We went in after landing at 9pm and they are still serving food and drinks. The place might be a bit small to other people, but we like the local experience of Izakaya. They only have a printed menu (with some other hand written menus which our phone could not handle the translation well), which we can use phone scan to translate the menu, hence we ordered couple items from the menu. The fried chicken is very delicious and the portion is very generous, we never tasted such great seasoning in Hong Kong. We asked the owner to serve rice since we hadn't had dinner yet, he served us along with very delicious miso soup. He put small clams in the soup which adds a lot of flavour to it. We also ordered sashimi which is very fresh and we could taste the sweetness from each bite. The owner is very friendly, though he might not communicate in English, he went for the extra mile to welcome and greet us with the help of his phone to translate. He also asks us multiple times if we need anything. We chatted a while after the dinner and I am grateful for such a wonderful experience on our first night in Japan.

I stayed at the hotel in Rinku town before I travel back to Thailand in the next morning I try to search for Izakaya and found this local restaurant(สไตล์ร้านลับ) it’s Unbelievable how delicious everything tasted. The shop owner gives us a warm welcome. Everything is freshly made.

Superbly fresh sashimi, crispy yet tenderly juicy Japanese fried chicken. Relatively quiet as I walked in early. Chef didn’t speak English but courteously used translator to communicate. Good value for money on such quality food, order fish miso soup and sake as well.

I like this place. Food and sashimi are over my expectation, so goood. The master is so nice with warm service. One of my favorite izakaya in this area.

Upon arriving, we were immediately asked if we spoke Japanese. We explained that while we understand a little, we could use a translator if needed. However, the owner refused to seat us, outright stating that they do not serve foreigners. This was our first encounter with such blatant discrimination in Japan, despite having visited the country multiple times. We even went out of our way to call a taxi just to dine here, only to be turned away. If you’re a foreign visitor, I strongly advise against coming to this restaurant. The owner is neither welcoming nor accommodating, and the entire experience left us feeling deeply disappointed. There are many other places in the area with good food and hospitality, unfortunately, this restaurant is not one of them.
