I went to "Sobagokoro" located in Tawaraya, Izumisano City for lunch. The interior has a calm Japanese atmosphere where you can feel the warmth of wood, and as soon as you step inside, you are healed by the fragrant aroma of buckwheat tea. This buckwheat tea was surprisingly delicious, making even the wait for the food feel luxurious. The "Toro Zaru" I had featured beautifully glossy, carefully hand-crafted soba noodles with an exceptional throat feel. The yellow egg yolk stood out against the white grated yam, greatly enhancing the soba's flavor. And their specialty, "Brand Choshi Torosawa Sardine Stew" was exquisite! It was so soft it could be easily cut with chopsticks, and featured a deep flavor infused with sweet and spicy sauce and the aroma of ginger. Everything from the dishes to the drinks was done with care, and the owner's attention to detail shines through. A parking lot is also provided, and with the cost performance, it made for a completely satisfying lunch. I used this place for lunch when visiting a nearby hospital. I had the Tempura Zaru, Oroshi Soba, and Katsudon, and all of them were as delicious as expected! The only minor drawback is that the parking lot is small. But we managed.

I had passed on visiting because it's always crowded, but I dropped by after 8:00 PM on a weekday when it was empty. I ordered two items: "Yama-kake Soba" and "Katsudon". The soba had a good chew, great flavor, and was delicious. The katsudon also had a sweet seasoning and was top-notch. They even served us soba water just as we finished eating the soba. It's a restaurant I'd like to visit again.

I came here for the first time because I wanted to eat soba. Going to a new restaurant takes quite a bit of courage, but putting it rudely, this was a winner in my book. I enjoyed it immensely. However, the parking lot only has space for 3 cars and is narrow, so it might be a bit difficult. I'd like to visit again.
