This is one of our unexpectedly very good finds. We were just walking around to look for something for lunch and we chanced upon this place. It is just near the Izumisano Station in Izumisano City, Osaka Perfecture, just about 200 or so meters. The food was in point. And it really helped that the staff/server understands and speak done English.
View on GoogleThis is a great place to have a meal. The staff (I believe also the owners) were lovely and nice. The food is extremely delicious, all I can say is try it, I think you will love it as much as I did. I really enjoyed my conversations with other diners as well. A truly special and unique experience.
View on GoogleI came to Izumisano to see off a British friend flying out of Kansai Airport. Answering his request for pizza, we ended up at ORSO. Fried pizza fritta was a first for me, but it wasn't greasy — it was light, piping hot inside, and amazing. You could easily eat a whole one per person. The pasta was al dente, and the two sauces we ordered were as delicious as pasta in Italy. My British friend was very satisfied too. For dessert we also had graffa, a Neapolitan donut. If it were close by, I'd definitely become a regular. The atmosphere and staff were very pleasant too♪ Please give it a try!
View on Google★The lunch set is better value than à la carte★ Apparently pasta takes time, so I asked about 'lunch items that come out quickly,' was told 'the gratin is quick,' and ordered it. I arrived at noon; the drink and salad came right out within 5 minutes, and the gratin also came sooner than I expected. It was tasty, but a bit small. I was looking forward to the fish-shaped fried donut, but what came out was somehow different from the photo. The restroom was clean too, so I'd appreciate polite service like today's. ***First visit*** I was shown to the counter and told they 'had' the white sauce pasta, so I ordered it, but later was told 'it was sold out,' so as a customer, I'd be glad if from next time whether you can order it could be handled more smoothly. There was more than an hour until lunch ended, and even though several tables were free, even a pair who looked like a married couple was seated at the counter, so it doesn't seem suited for dates.
View on GoogleThe taste is super authentic and delicious. But I want bigger portions. Even at the same price, if the portions were bigger I think it'd catch on. A takeout-only shop could be interesting too. Appetizer salad, PIZZA FRITTA, and cola for 1375 yen
