The food was alright, staff is rude. She seemed annoyed when I asked her to repeat what she said. Apparently she doesn’t speak English, and I was trying to understand her Japanese because she speaks quite fast to me when she explained the fee 300 yen per person for just sitting down. When we order, she didn’t tell us about everyone has to order a drink. We (2 people) ordered 3 dishes. After that, she came back saying we needed to order 2 drinks, she again seemed annoyed. Well, she served others (Japanese) with a smile. I don’t know what’s so hard about putting the same attitude to foreigners🙄
View on GoogleThe restaurant has no English menu, the waitress had limited capacity of English, so it was very difficult to choose dishes and make an order. The pictures of dishes in the menu were rather confusing, and you can't rely on your eyes while your choosing. The bill was much higher than expected. There was extra money for each dish. It was declared as "tax", but there wasn't any mention of these "taxes" in the menu. Also, in the bill there was the line that google translated as "person fee". Was it service fee or "seat fee"? I don't know, but again it was sudden. Ah, yes. The food wasn't delicious. I especially remember the shrimps in batter, fried in rancid oil, yummy-yummy. To sum up: 1. Hidden fees 2. No preliminary information about hidden fees 3. Not especially cheap and not delicious food
View on Google[May 12, 2026] Creative Japanese restaurant close to Nankai Izumisano Station. Dropped in right as weekday lunch time started. Starting at 11:00 is very appreciated for early eaters. Casual interior with pop background music, they also serve cake so it doesn't really feel like a Japanese restaurant. Ordering is via touch panel. There are easy set meals, but I ordered the slightly higher-priced steamed conger sushi set meal for 2000 yen. Eating it, it felt mediocre. The balance between the thin steamed conger eel and the rice (sushi rice on the mushy side?) didn't match. Especially the rice wasn't what I was looking for. I simply felt that it would have been better to go with the easy sashimi or chicken nanban set meal.
View on GoogleFirst time coming for lunch! I was so touched because the conger eel was seriously delicious 😂 There is a good volume and I am satisfied. The cake was also delicious 😋
View on GoogleHaving dinner at Washin Ryori Kotobuki in front of Izumisano Station I had yuzu tea and my friend had Hanshin beer What we ordered: 5-variety assortment of drinking snacks 1 serving ¥750 Crispy whitebait and tomato salad ¥800 French fries ¥500 Raw yuba spring rolls with tuna and avocado ¥1,380 Steamed conger sushi ¥1,700 The raw yuba spring rolls with tuna and avocado and the steamed conger sushi were unusual! I don't really like conger eel because of the bones, but the conger eel here had no bones and was fluffy ✨
