We visited a book store nearby and then looking for a place to eat after the book store closed at 9pm. This restaurant was the only place nearby that was open and we popped in. The restaurant specialises in salt ramen, in various styles: soup and Tsukumen style. It has an open concept kitchen where you get to see the chefs in action, preparing bowls of ramen and frying up plates of fried rice. We ordered: - Sea salt ramen (Salt-flavored ramen broth with char siew) - Tasty and the first item to be finished. - Salt Tsukumen: Noodle portion was good and the side dip was good and tasty. Recommended! - Green onion salt ramen: This had lots of julienned green onions and the char siew was cut into 3cm strips. Preferred the normal ramen over this. - Stewed beef tendon: This was stewed beef and stomach atop a bowl of rice and green onions. This was tasty and good! Recommended! The shop has a counter where you can help yourself to Kimchi (as a side dish) and minced garlic (for your ramen). Lots of customers when we were there and the atmosphere was lively. Try it if you are in the neighborhood! 😋
View on GoogleBalanced Salt Ramen with Nice Broth and Crispy Chicken” This ramen shop specializes in its signature salt ramen. I was initially worried it might be too salty, but the broth is perfectly balanced—lightly seasoned, fresh, and flavorful without being overwhelming. I nearly finished every drop! The fried chicken is crispy and delicious, and they offer free kimchi on the side to refresh the palate and whet your appetite. Overall, a solid and satisfying ramen experience.
View on GoogleHad salt ramen was simple yet perfect. Wish I was in japan longer to it more then once. Servers were very polite and helped with translations for ingredients. Best ramen I've ever had :)
View on GoogleThe yuzu is beautifully blended into the salted ramen broth, subtle but noticeable, without overpowering the dish. The noodles have a great texture that ties everything together nicely. Definitely a spot I would recommend!
View on GoogleI stumbled upon this hidden gem on Google Maps, and it was absolutely incredible! I tried the miso ramen with dumplings, and let me tell you, it was one of the best miso ramen I’ve ever had. The place was packed with locals, and they all seemed to really enjoy the vibe. It was a great spot for a casual meal!
