Iroha Mangetsu Izumisano feels like a solid, well-established local okonomiyaki chain with a butcher's heritage. The restaurant's character stems from its origins as a neighbourhood meat shop founded in 1926. This is not just cheap, flour-based food. The okonomiyaki and teppanyaki are made with more emphasis on meat, flour, and ingredients than at many ordinary, family-style okonomiyaki places. The restaurant is also easy to use. The staff cook in front of customers, making it a great place for families in the suburbs. The homemade fresh noodles and yakisoba, as well as the use of better ingredients, give the meal a slightly more polished feel. It is still a well-organised local chain rather than a powerful one-of-a-kind individual shop. It is a suburban okonomiyaki restaurant with butcher roots, where konamon becomes slightly more refined and family-friendly.

View on GoogleDropped by around 3 PM on Sunday. It always has the image of being fully booked, but at this time I could get in without waiting time. Ordered suji kon negiyaki, tonton cheese. It was a very delicious okonomiyaki. Dropped by for lunch. Ordered the Nakayoshi lunch, it's nice that you can choose the ingredients for the okonomiyaki! Okonomiyaki and yakisoba are each half portions, comes with salad and all-you-can-eat rice, making it a highly satisfying lunch. I personally felt the cost performance was top-notch, down to being able to choose a drink.
View on GoogleOrdered homemade pork kakuni, Hiroshima-yaki, and tontama. Especially the tontama was crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside, with an outstanding match between the pork umami and sauce. Hiroshima-yaki had chewy noodles and had volume. Among them, the one I grew to like the most was the homemade pork kakuni. Flavors soaked in firmly and it was tender, with a quality you wouldn't expect from an okonomiyaki shop. Since the staff grills it right in front of you, there was a sense of live performance and I enjoyed the meal. It's a shop that makes you understand why it's popular. Only the parking lot was a bit hard to understand at first, so those going for the first time might feel relieved checking in advance. I want to go again.
View on GoogleMangetsu's okonomiyaki for the first time in several years♪ Thriving as usual and good cost performance! Okonomiyaki worth waiting in line for. The performance of sprinkling mayonnaise is surely going to be highly effective for inbound tourists too. Surprised that the lunch daikon salad and eggplant side dish also had seasoning styles I like! Glad I went with no breakfast♪
