This is Osaka. No exaggeration. If you want to experience real Osaka soul food, this is the place. The okonomiyaki is unbelievably fluffy—light, airy, and melts in your mouth. The doteyaki (beef stew in rich miso) is deep, savory, and absolutely addictive. The yakisoba? Perfect texture—springy noodles cooked just right. And the oden… every bite is soaked with flavorful dashi that warms you from the inside out. But it’s not just the food. The interior is old-school, nostalgic, and full of character—the kind of place you can’t recreate. You’re not just eating here—you’re stepping into authentic Osaka culture. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Everything—flavor, atmosphere, experience—is top tier. If you skip this place, you haven’t truly been to Osaka. Highly, highly recommended.

A very local restaurant with great okonomiyaki and yakisoba. Recommend to let the food on the pan for a bit to get bit of crispiness at the bottom which add another layer of flavor which go very well with cold beer. You can smoke in the restaurant so non-smokers out there have to watch out a bit. All the menu are in Japanese and only accept cash. So tourists (like me) might have hard time ordering but highly recommend to visit.

I highly suggest not coming here if you don’t speak Japanese. Unfortunately, we didn’t see the negative reviews prior to coming here but when we arrived we said Hello and a lady told us “No.” while walking away and then another lady shut the door in our face. Very unfortunate because although it smelled good, it left a bitter taste. If you want to exclude foreigners, maybe don’t have an english menu.
