Im regret that I havent come here earlier. The Okonomiyaki here is light and delicious. Other dishes are also fairly good. The price here is ridiciously low so it only costs us 1600yen per person for a wonderful dinner. There are 3/4 parking lots outside. Even if it is full, you can use the car park nearby.

At lunchtime to [Kappa], a long-standing okonomiyaki restaurant in Izumiotsu City, Osaka. There were several parking spaces in front of the store, but I couldn't park, so I parked at a nearby coin-operated parking lot and visited. This restaurant currently operates for lunch only on weekends and holidays. As it was lunchtime, there were 3 groups waiting and I was able to sit at a table after about 20 minutes. This restaurant serves Yoshokuyaki, which is said to be the prototype of okonomiyaki, a Kansai soul food that is rare nowadays. Moreover, outside the store is 'Meat Yokozuna Iga Beef,' and next to Ushitama on the menu is 'Iga Beef!'. The menu to order is only 'Ushitama'~! So I ordered Ushitama! While wondering whether to apply sauce or soy sauce, they told me I could order a half-and-half, so I asked for half sauce and half soy sauce. Lunch came with rice, miso soup, and pickles as a service, which of course I requested. The Yoshokuyaki, which I ate for the first time, felt like a texture closer to monjayaki, feeling more gooey rather than fluffy. The Iga beef had cuts of meat the size that would go into yakiniku, but somehow, the meat odor was strong, and for me, it was a bit so-so. Hmm, was it just a coincidence? The restaurant was popular with people waiting even when we left. Stuffed stomach! Thank you for the meal!

Lunch with my third son. He said... he doesn't really like homemade okonomiyaki... But he came here before and it was delicious... I am a mother with mixed feelings (bitter smile) While saying things like well if it's as delicious as a restaurant they'd open a shop, we went inside. My first visit. My son probably came for a swimming match or something... Decided to share by ordering the classic butatama okonomiyaki and yakisoba. Eh!! Isn't the okonomiyaki super huge!! This must make growing boys happy. Rice was also dished up plenty. As expected of youth!!

[Negiyaki Kappa Osaka Izumiotsu] A restaurant I've always wanted to go to while living close by but never had. Went together with a friend's family ------------ What I ordered: ・Yoshokuyaki - Sujitama (680 yen) ・Negiyaki - Negi Deluxe - (1170 yen) ・Sobapira Large (1060 yen) ・Omusoba Large (Price unknown) ・Kanto-ni I was non-alcohol, but my impression was that the types of alcohol were abundant ------------ The Kanto-ni had soup stock soaked all through and the sweet seasoning was delicious Why do people in the south love oden and Kantodaki so much? Eternal mystery Also, Sobapira was more delicious than expected What is the difference from Sobameshi is something everyone must question Because we were like that too... Sobameshi = White rice × Yakisoba Sobapira = Garlic fried rice × Yakisoba This is the image. The restaurant's signature negiyaki was of course delicious too ~ ------------ The store interior is spacious and children are welcome It was my favorite high-ceiling type of store Thank you for the meal!

The okonomiyaki itself is also extremely large and filling! Negiyaki shoyu, mix-tama, yakisoba, all of them are considerably larger than other places and I got full! During congestion times, it takes a little time for food to be served, so ordering side dishes and waiting leisurely might be good. It seems like a famous restaurant visited by celebrities such as entertainers and sumo wrestlers! I want to go again! The onigiri 🍙 was extremely large and optimal for the ending
