First visit, went for lunch with my mom. There is no parking lot, but there is a coin parking lot right in front of the shop. You can park for about 200 yen. As for the eel, freshly charcoal-grilled crispy eel is served. It was a delicious eel with a crispy surface and fluffy inside. Extra sauce is also provided, and the sansho pepper has a great aroma that goes well with the eel. The staff provided kind and attentive service, allowing me to enjoy my meal with peace of mind. Not only eel, but you can also take home items like unamaki.
View on GoogleI visited "Unagi no Tokiya" in Izumiotsu City for lunch. At the storefront, eels are grilled over charcoal, and the good aroma stimulates the appetite even before entering. With a style of grilling after ordering, I was able to have freshly made unaju. The eel I had had a fragrant outside and a fluffy texture inside. It is said not to be frozen eel, and the meat was tender and very delicious. The taste of the sauce is not too strong, and the balance with the rice was good so I could eat it deliciously until the end. This time I had the unaju, but personally, the tokujo (special) is recommended. It's about 900 yen more expensive than the regular one, but the eel is firmly placed on it and it was satisfying. It also comes with a small bowl and clear soup, making it a very satisfying content for lunch. Recommended for those who want to eat delicious eel around Izumiotsu. Budget Lunch: 2,000–4,000 yen

View on GoogleI used it for takeout on Doyo no Ushi no Hi. Although it was only reservation-only, it was so popular that there was a line. I couldn't find a parking lot nearby, so I parked on the street, but the road is wide enough if you just want to pick up a bento. I ordered the tokujo bento, and I was surprised that it was smaller than I thought, but when I ate it, I felt full. The eel was so soft like I've never eaten before, and the skin was crispy to the point that I could no longer eat eel from supermarkets or conveyor belt sushi because it was so delicious.
View on GoogleAppropriate for an eel specialty restaurant, the store name is Tokiya, a dashing reading of the name. Since having an accident with my body last year, I decided that once I recovered, the first thing I would do is splurge on eel. I had the unaju tokujo for 3,300 yen. It comes with a whole eel, uzaku, liver soup, and pickles. Charcoal-grilled, the inside is moist and fluffy, and the outside is not too crispy, with perfect texture and aroma. The sauce is not too sweet and not too thick, and personally, it is the optimal seasoning, and I liked it. I think it is a delicious eel restaurant. The interior hygiene is well maintained, and in terms of price, for a tokujo unaju, it is by no means expensive and rather cheap. The hospitality of the owner and staff is basically good, and although there was a momentary operational confusion due to an order mistake, it was no problem and left a good impression. The inside of the restaurant started to fill up early, and there were many customers for takeout and bento. Since I was able to enjoy delicious eel without major flaws, the total evaluation is the maximum 5 stars!
