Takoyaki size is on the smaller side. Slightly firm on the outside and soft on the inside. Ingredients other than octopus are green onions, tenkasu, and pickled ginger. Topped with aonori. The sauce is light and sweet. It's an old-school, orthodox takoyaki, but the ingredients are substantial and the batter has a proper flavor. It's a delicious takoyaki with no weird quirks in a good way, and easy to eat in small pieces. Prices start from 250 yen for 10 pieces. There are also menus other than takoyaki. No parking space. The sidewalk in front of the store is wide and you can pull a vehicle in, but it gets in the way of pedestrians so you shouldn't do it. There's a FamilyMart next door and a Gyomu Super across the street, so I recommend buying some while you're out shopping.
View on GoogleWhenever there's a request to eat takoyaki, I call to order and go pick it up. It's not the large takoyaki you see around town nowadays, but traditional takoyaki, and it's delicious.
View on GoogleA local takoyaki shop that has been around for a long time. The taste is average, but eat-in is also available, though it's a Showa-era takoyaki shop where the smell of cigarette smoke lingers. It's a place where you occasionally want to go to have an old guy enjoy canned beer with takoyaki and yakisoba.
