Starting from authentic takosen, tamasen, shaved ice, to roasted sweet potatoes 🍠, an amazing lineup of dagashi shop food. Run by a wonderful couple who liven up the area together with many local friends including performer Amits-san. Acorns will eventually become trees and forests. Viewing children as acorns, and wanting to watch over them until they become trees and form a forest... The couple's feelings are the origin of the shop's name. I think the fantastic atmosphere of Night Donguri-ya is seriously awesome.
View on GoogleThere is a parking lot on the side. A town dagashi shop which is rare nowadays. Shaved ice and ice cream are also sold cheaply so children will be happy
View on GoogleThere is a parking lot next to the store, and it said that numbers 6, 7, and 8 are the parking lot for Donguri-ya. There are plenty of types of dagashi that children will love, and adults will feel nostalgic too, like Kabayaki-san Taro and Umaibo, I think it's one of the shops with many varieties as a town dagashi shop. I went with my niece, and was treated politely. It's a shop that makes me want to bring them again if my days off align on a weekday.
View on GoogleA shop lined with old-fashioned dagashi. It is open until 6 PM on weekdays, so I often go to buy snacks after coming home from school. There are lots of dagashi that parents ate when they were little, and new flavors are released, making me almost buy a whole set out of nostalgia. Saturday mornings, I'd like to take the kids more frequently. It's a very heartwarming shop.
View on GoogleLately... town dagashi shops have become extremely scarce. Remodeled in a corner of a historical building about 50 years old... Inside the store... dagashi are lined up to the brim so that anyone from children to former children can enjoy. Located on a street corner where kids might come holding a 100-yen coin, and it's a popular shop among kindergarteners, elementary, and junior high school students. The store owner couple also has a gentle atmosphere, and cheerfully greets children coming home from school in front of the store with 'Welcome back ~😊'. Above all... benches are placed in front of the store... where you can eat snacks bought inside... and small snacks to fill a light hunger like shaved ice, takosen, soft serve ice cream, milk senbei, etc. are also sold. There is parking for 3 cars on the side of the store 🅿. Bicycles can be parked in the space in front of the store. Lately... safe places to play are decreasing, so having a precious shop like this is... enviable. If it were close... I'd want to go regularly! The snacks are... really reasonable, starting from 10 yen~. To me as an adult, it's nostalgic and I shopped until my basket was full... Because of too much excitement, I forgot to take photos... I'll definitely go again~🤣
