I love this place . Staff was friendly and young . Free car parking space . Only cash 💴. Toilet available inside the restaurant. Very spacious. Wheelchair ♿️ person ok. You will find mostly elderly people . Morning breakfast stars from ¥500. Coffee is delicious.
View on GoogleThis is a wonderful coffee shop! The staff were super friendly and the food/coffee were excellent. Pizza toast, Pancake with blueberries, cafe au lait and iced coffee, a perfect way to start the day. We used Google translate for the menu with no problems. We will definitely be back!
View on GoogleOrdered the morning set with iced coffee and B mini sandwich with added egg and salad. There were 2 types of dressing. The bread was a bit dry. (Average feel) The coffee was aromatic and delicious. (Feels like a true kissaten) The extra salad also felt pre-prepared and was a bit dry. Lacking moisture means less spoilage, I suppose. Pouring dressing on it might make it just right. There is no smoking area, people smoke at the next seat, it's a traditional kissaten. A bit of a disappointing point.
View on GoogleI entered the shop without finding a smoking-allowed sticker in front. Due to many customers smoking, the air inside the restaurant smelled of tobacco. Since smoking areas are completely unseparated, smokers were everywhere. Unused plates were piled high on the counter, and there was no paper or cover over the plates. Customers eat and drink in front of that. No consideration is given to droplet infection via tableware. My companion said the coffee was delicious, but both the morning pizza toast and mini sandwich tasted average. At a level where you think making it at home would be tastier? The mini sandwich was an egg sandwich, but I couldn't tell if mustard was in it and felt it was a little spicy. The coffee milk was also taken away early, so I couldn't add a little while drinking, and had to adjust the taste with sugar. At checkout, I was coerced into providing small change. I understand that preparing change is hard, but paying 2000 yen for a bill around 1200 yen is quite common in the world, yet small change seems mandatory at this shop. I didn't have small change, and while my companion was checking for small change, a 1000 yen bill was fluttered in front of us as if telling us to 'hurry up and bring the small change', which was very unpleasant. It's fine if you like the old-fashioned Showa retro feel, but otherwise it's a shop where you'll just feel unpleasant going.
