I was craving monjayaki, so I looked for a privately-run restaurant outside Osaka City. Hearing that Meriken-tei in Hagoromo was already fully booked, I dropped by here 🌃 As for the seating, there were 3 table seats, and the counter could seat about 7 people maybe? It's popular, so if you're coming with a group, reservations are recommended. The menu items are basically made for you by the staff, so people who aren't good at making monja or okonomiyaki themselves can rest easy 👍🏻 The menu has a huge variety categorized by okonomiyaki, monja, yoshoku-yaki, yakisoba, and tonpeiyaki, and they also have various izakaya dishes and drinks. This place serves rare Kansai-style monja, meaning the Kansai-style dashi combined with seafood broth is rich, and the monja has a stronger flavor which is delicious, and they don't skimp on the ingredients. The okonomiyaki is fluffy-style, and as for the yakisoba too, the sauce at this restaurant is spicy, tangy, and delicious 👍👍👍✨ I want to come back to eat monja again ✨

First, when I mentioned it at the time of ordering, I was told to mention it at checkout. When I mentioned it at checkout, they went "Huh?" Thinking 'Eh?', the staff member from when I ordered came over and said, "You can't do it unless you bring (the Chamber of Commerce News)" Well, it was cheap, it was delicious, and I'll come back again. But the 'Huh?' face was disappointing.

The customer service attitude of the kitchen staff was the worst, honestly a level where I'd want to give negative stars. The floor staff were nice, and the taste wasn't bad, so it's a shame. It made me feel like if they hate it that much, they shouldn't work in customer service.

Looking at the reviews, the staff seem to have a bad attitude, so I'm going to stop myself from going.

I don't even want to give it a 1-star rating. They stay open late and I think the taste isn't bad, but the attitude of the female staff member with a haughty face was so terrible it completely ruined the experience. From how she handled phone calls to taking orders, everything makes you wonder if she's really someone running a business.
