Found this after my night shift and was curious, so I came in At a traditional kissaten, piping hot coffee and this set for just one coin (500 yen) is cheap!! It has a great atmosphere and I spent a relaxing time⭐️ There was also a Korean man who seemed very satisfied with the vibe ╰(*´︶`*)╯ It's a place I'd love to visit again ♬

A retro coffee shop where you can strongly feel the Showa era. I spent a cozy and relaxing tea time.

The only remaining traditional kissaten in Izumiotsu. The siphon coffee is mild and comforting. The owner doesn't look 86 at all and is very eloquent, typical of Otsu. The interior is also a favorite hidden gem.
