A traditional diner in Izumiotsu. Not a Western-style restaurant, but a diner just as the name suggests. I ordered the omurice and ham & eggs. The ham in the ham & eggs had a crispy finish, and the eggs were medium-boiled. The omurice is in a traditional style with the thin egg layer being fluffy and soft, and the chicken rice isn't sticky, finished like a fluffy fried rice. Next time I'll try ordering a different set meal.
View on GoogleThe shaved ice is piled high and cheap. Instead of plain water, mugicha (barley tea) was served. Is this only during the summer?
View on GoogleI ate the omurice. It has a nostalgic Western-food taste, and as you eat it, the ketchup flavor spreads through your mouth without being overpowering. Furthermore, despite high inflation, I was able to eat a cheap lunch and was very satisfied. Thank you for the meal!!
View on GoogleA 70-year-old long-standing establishment A restaurant where whatever you eat, whether omurice, katsu curry, or tenshindon, is cheap and delicious. A traditional diner with a rich menu of udon, rice bowls, etc. You can experience the homey Osaka atmosphere run by a married couple.
