Entered for lunch. Ordered Gen Special, Harami and Horumon lunch, raw senmai, chuhai. Was just over 5 thousand yen. I go to various yakiniku lunches, but without flattery it was good. Looking forward to next time.

Went for lunch, and it was extremely good at a level you wouldn't expect for around 1500 yen. Both harami and loin are delicious, and the gokbap was delicious too. Pity that gokbap was pretty much the only menu a toddler could eat ~ Wish there was a kids menu

Took out the harami bento (1,200 yen) from the direct-wholesale yakiniku restaurant 'Yakiniku Gen' 🥩 The moment I opened the lid, the nice aroma of sweet and spicy sauce spread fluffily and naturally got my spirits up ✨ Lots of harami thoroughly coated in sauce, with sesame and chopped green onions scattered on top making the visual appetizing too. Side dishes also come in 3 types of namul, kimchi, and potato salad, and the amount of white rice is sufficient 🍚 High meat quality as expected from direct wholesale, and this content for 1,200 yen is quite cost-effective ◎ If anything, it cools down easily during takeout, so eating early is recommended. A bento I'd definitely want to repeat if it were nearby 😊

Ate lunch for the first time in a while the other day and it was pretty good, so got carried away and went to dinner today. Welcomed by a cheerful young lady into the shop... Asked for a lunch-like course just in case, and as expected there wasn't one, so ordered a 2-person set of omakase kalbi, loin, harami, motsu, and since it probably wouldn't be enough, added 1 of each various items. Waited for a bit and tongue clearly appeared in front of me, so asked if it was a mistake? Told it was correct, talked about whether it was part of the omakase, and waiting further for the rest to come, this time loin and kalbi that clearly looked like different cuts... ( ºωº ;) Clearly downgraded compared to daytime lunch. Even further, when harami came, meat that looked like it had been blanched on all four sides with hot water... Appearance easy to understand if called bonito tataki? Looks like meat that was old so hot water was poured on it for disinfection. Motsu also had shimacho and another long string-like texture like salted squid guts, which had a terrible smell. Smelled so bad wondering if it was properly prepped. While eating with family, it might have been the first time I was made to eat such bad meat. If this, a family restaurant chain might have been better. Real……ly. Bad. Was the kitchen left to part-timers?
