The area where this izakaya is located is the birthplace of my late mother (mother) who passed away nearly 10 years ago, and many of her friends, acquaintances, herself, family, and relatives live there, so I have multiple friends and acquaintances regardless of gender, such as the son of my mother's junior from school days. Therefore, several people have dining experience at this izakaya. If I meet those friends and acquaintances around places I visit for errands nearby, mainly centered around Izumi Municipal Oguri-no-Yu (public bath), some people greet me when we cross paths with content like, "If schedules match, shall we eat once at Masaru-chan while reminiscing about old times?" However, since schedules often don't match from my perspective, I rarely have the chance to visit together, but if our schedules match, I'd like to go together. By the way, when I asked acquaintances who have experience visiting, they said, "For us, if we order only 1-2 drinks of alcohol like beer or chuhai, and order about 5-6 a la carte dishes, since some a la carte items are relatively expensive, the minimum per visit is often around the 3000 yen range including tax." Location-wise, it operates in building 53 of the Izumi municipal Yamate Danchi, between the Izumi Yamate Post Office (Nakayama Naika Clinic) front intersection and Asoike Park front intersection on the Oguri Kaido, with the main landmarks being building 54 and 55 of the same Yamate Danchi across the street, and a Jizodo built on the south side of building 53.

A small izakaya with 6 counter seats. Very much a favorite. They also make takoyaki, and they'll make whatever they can even if it's not on the menu.

Thanks for taking care of us at the year-end party with friends ❗ The spicy miso hot pot was exquisite, and the curry hot pot and hors d'oeuvres were also good. The fee was reasonable too ☺️
