Visited around 11:20 AM on a weekday. There was 1 group of customers before. I was able to park in the one nearest parking lot next to the shop. Ordered cold toriten (chicken tempura) udon. Transparent udon as written in the shop. Thin noodles but chewy. There are many menus and the seats are spacious. Parking information was at the entrance.
View on GoogleIt is wider than the main store, it looks like a Japanese restaurant. Since there are many tables that can seat multiple people, it can hold more than the main store. If you want to go to Kansai without queuing too much, this might be better. There is a nice scent of oden near the entrance. Many of the staff are young but they are solid. The udon is thin and transparent, the texture is the best when swallowed. You can enjoy it with peace of mind just like the main store. However, please be careful because the parking lot (at the end of the row) is small.
View on GoogleI enjoyed very delicious udon, semi-transparent thin noodles but chewy, and oden that was also delicious with flavors that soaked in.
View on GoogleWhile looking for a place to eat lightly after renewing my driver's license, I arrived at this shop. I had cold tempura udon, the shrimp tempura was large, the amount of udon was also just right and I enjoyed it! The shop is easy to enter even for a woman alone, so it is recommended.
View on GoogleI usually visit this shop 1-2 times a month, but I mostly go at night. Since I was off today, I went to the Komyoji branch with my kids during the day. The udon is usually delicious no matter what you order, but perhaps the noodles have changed; my whole family felt the zaru udon wasn't as good as at other branches, and it was so bad we couldn't even finish it. I didn't have the hot udon this time so I don't know, but I hope it hasn't changed. Also, the staff's attitude was poor; they told us to leave because they close at 14:50. When I asked if they weren't open until 15:00, they said they needed to clean up. In the end, the kids didn't finish their meal and we left. A long-standing shop I've visited for decades has fallen this far. This reliable shop that stayed open even during the pandemic has come to an end for us. I'll go to the Fuchu branch instead.
