Late December weekday 2 PM visit! Day drinking was available 🍶 At this time, I was able to relax and drink with a bottle of beer and Japanese sake 🍶 accompanied by oden 🍢 and side dishes in the showcase! The owner is the 3rd generation! He is about the same age as me, so is the shop 100 years old?! The menu mainly consists of udon and rice bowls, but you can also drink alcohol and spend a good time day-drinking until 6 PM! I don't want to tell anyone!
View on GoogleThe inside of the store has the atmosphere of an old-fashioned public diner. Simmered fish, grilled fish, fried foods, etc. are lined up in a glass case, and you take what you like. The friendly store owner (?) will reheat them in the microwave. I'm glad that the cabbage for the side salad and glass noodle salad are left as they are, and only the fried foods are warmed up. There are many other menus pasted on the wall, and there are various miso soups, udon, soba, and rice bowls. Quick service so those with no time can rest assured. There was a parking lot beside the store. Prices are cheap and recommended!
View on GoogleEating this much for 1460 yen is a joke (lol). I'm worried because it's too cheap. The small rice is bigger than usual, right? Was it about 200 grams? Hmm, overall the quantity is large and the taste is delicious.
View on GoogleEverywhere feels thoroughly Showa. Gray exterior, faded display, wooden menu, patterned glass, etc.. An unpretentious place you'd want in your neighborhood.
View on GoogleShowa public diner, the interior is old but feels clean. The system is: sit down -> tell the staff the order -> staff brings it to the table -> pay after eating. Not taking a tray and choosing -> paying before eating. As for the oden, daikon, fried tofu, and umeyaki, the flavor soaked in and it was delicious. There were 3 other solo customers, all eating quietly and with good manners. Even a solo woman can enter with peace of mind. Payment seems to be cash only.
