This is an okonomiyaki shop run by the cousin of my late mother (mother). During my elementary school days, I used to visit mainly before going home when I came at night to Asahi Onsen public bath right in front, and occasionally visited during the daytime session too. Currently, due to various circumstances, the daytime session operation has been suspended and it's only open for the evening session, and since I moved to a distant area, chances to go have decreased, but okonomiyaki, yakisoba, and a la carte items like horumon stir-fry seem relatively cheap for an independently run okonomiyaki shop. By the way, regarding the Hanshin Tigers tiger mark on the signboard near the shop, when I asked an insider acquaintance: "It's said that because the late owner who passed away quite a while ago formed a support club as a Hanshin Tigers fan and actually went to watch several home games at Hanshin Koshien Stadium, and because he was famous among Hanshin Tigers fans, the Hanshin Tigers company allowed it to be put on the signboard," they said. Location-wise, on Route 26 (Second Hanwa National Highway), on the road between Izumi Sogo High School West intersection and Marukasa housing complex in Izumiotsu City, located on the north side of the intersection in front of the Kozumi police box of Izumi Police Station. On foot, from in front of Shindachi Station on the JR Hanwa Line following the railroad tracks north (toward Kita-Shindachi Station), turn right from the first intersection you see, enter the road between Izumi Sogo High School West intersection and Marukasa housing complex, heading toward Marukasa housing complex from the Kozumi housing complex entrance intersection on the Osaka Izumi-Sennan prefectural road, passing the first intersection in front of Izumi City Fire Brigade 8th Division you see, the shop comes into view on the left past Izumi Municipal Munakata Elementary School seen on the right. (The main landmark is the signboard with the Hanshin Tigers tiger mark.)

Both okonomiyaki and yakisoba are very delicious! I was hungry so I forgot to take pictures 😱 The mother of the shop is very kind and honest 🙆
