Healthy Taiwanese food cooked by Japanese. The restaurant is cosy but food is professional. Recommended when you want to eat lots of vegetables and get full of energy.

Visited in October 2025 To Jikousha, a popular Taiwanese restaurant located right outside Ikeda Station. Although I had been curious about it for a while, this is my first visit. Since it was lunchtime, I ordered the rice set meal. · Cantonese-style roast black tea duck · Fresh tomato chili shrimp Choose 1 from these 2 mains, plus eight-treasure beauty porridge, 6 side dishes, Taiwanese tea, and a dessert set. I ordered one main each, but it's quite a luxurious set. All the small side dishes have a gentle taste. The Cantonese-style roast has an extremely crispy skin, and the duck meat is moist, tender, and delicious. The chili shrimp is not heavy, but a light Taiwanese style, which is quite nice. The porridge is also light; this is a small size, but a single order seems to come in a bowl size. What a healthy taste lol Dessert is grass jelly with brown sugar syrup and soy milk almond tofu. The grass jelly here has no peculiar taste and is easy to eat. The soy milk almond tofu has the gentleness of soy milk and a firm almond flavor. Overall it was light and gave the impression of being geared towards women, but it's nice to be able to eat a little bit of various items. You can also have plenty of Taiwanese tea. I was thoroughly full and satisfied. Thank you for the meal.

Summer 2025 Used for lunch ■Jikousha's rice set meal (Grilled hairtail with magao and Tainan natural salt) Ice-top oolong tea is served first as tea. · Main: Grilled hairtail with magao and Tainan natural salt Vegetables are delicious. Tender and simple seasoning with only salt and spices, yet makes you keep using your chopsticks. The hairtail also has a lot of fat, and precisely because it is gently seasoned with salt, you can feel the original fat of the fish while keeping it light. · Side dish: Fried eggplant in broth Chilled and delicious. Deliciousness that feels like the oil is olive oil? And there is also spiciness. · Side dish: Cut dried tofu Feels more like noodles than tofu; crumbly yet dense and delicious, with sesame oil working well. · Side dish: Wood ear mushrooms Plump and slightly sour · Side dish: Simmered winter melon Gentle simmered taste that can be eaten in a second. · Eight-treasure beauty porridge The porridge has a solid base of gentle flavor while being adjusted with basic seasonings such as salt. It contains small pieces of youtiao, giving a junk food touch to the gentle porridge. · Grass jelly with brown sugar syrup Jelly drizzled with brown sugar syrup containing jujubes, Job's tears, and walnuts. There was no herbal medicine smell in the jelly, and it could be eaten deliciously. [Atmosphere] A old-folk-house style Taiwanese restaurant located a little off the shopping street. Visited after hearing you can eat a good amount of food with a medicinal herbal feel. [Next time] I'd like to try the medicinal soup with whole shark fin, and there are many things I want to try for dessert like soy milk almond tofu, Oriental Beauty ma la gao, and aiyu jelly lemon tea.

The atmosphere of the renovated old folk house shop is great. The food also has a clear taste, and after the meal, your stomach feels cozy and warm. A restaurant I want to keep secret.

Hankyu Takarazuka Line Ikeda Station. Just a short way from the shopping street, a quiet space flows... We have arrived at Jikousha. Take off your shoes as if stepping into a house... There are 3 two-person table seats and 2 counter seats. The 2nd floor is a multipurpose space where workshops and art exhibitions can be held. The fusion of decorations seen in Taiwan and China, such as upside-down 'fu' characters and paper-cut crafts, with Japan's nostalgic scenery is so relaxing~ This time we dropped by for lunch. When you order lunch, Taiwanese tea was served first! Today's tea is Dongding Oolong, served in a lidded teacup, which you drink by sliding the lid back a bit so the tea leaves don't come out. It smells good and makes you relax. A teapot is provided on the table while keeping it warm, so you can have refills too. What I ordered this time from the lunch menu is Jikousha's Rice Set Meal. It's said to be a Taiwanese teahouse-style meal tray. Gorgeous~ It's not just simple Chinese food, but food that uses pesticide-reduced vegetables, seasonal vegetables, and seasonal ingredients without using any chemical seasonings, making it not only delicious but also gentle on the body. The meal tray has a main dish (choose from 3 types), 6 side dishes, a small bowl of eight-treasure beauty porridge, Taiwanese tea, and dessert. For the main dish, I chose the Niwa free-range chicken Taiwanese-style fried chicken. Is it garlic soy sauce seasoning?... The crispy batter and juicy chicken meat, with a slight stinging accent, are delicious. The side dishes are... First, wood ear mushroom & jellyfish salad, and turmeric-fried Jerusalem artichoke. The crunchy texture of the wood ear mushroom & jellyfish is pleasant. Oh, the turmeric-fried has a very light and crispy batter, and the easy-to-bite Jerusalem artichoke is tasty. Seasoned maitake mushrooms and bamboo shoots with mayonnaise sauce. The chewy texture of maitake and crunchy texture of bamboo shoots are delicious. Simmered Shogoin turnip and mutton. You can enjoy the meaty parts with the taste and aroma characteristic of lamb, but it's tender as if simmered well. The Shogoin turnip has also absorbed the flavor very well. Eight-treasure beauty porridge. A special Chinese porridge made by slowly simmering beauty-friendly Job's tears, lotus seeds, pearled barley, black soybeans, mung beans, soybeans, azuki beans with white rice, black rice, and brown rice... Gentle and moderate saltiness sinks in~, huh? There is something chunky in it... Is this walnut? Tea eggs can be eaten as is or put into this porridge to eat. For dessert, Aiyu Jelly Lemon Tea. Aiyu jelly's honey-scented black tea lemon syrup... I wonder what it's like. Aiyu is a plant native to Taiwan, and when its seeds are rubbed in water, natural gelatin ingredients come out and it sets like jelly. Smooth and very soft. The jelly itself has almost no taste, but this syrup is sweet and delish~ I had a very delicious meal. If you are interested, please come.
