Wish it was a little closer to home. The SOBAMAE(appetizers) to enjoy with some cold sake before the soba were really good, and the white shrimp kakiage was delicious too. The soba itself was nicely balanced and really tasty. Would definitely recommend it.

Had the cold soba with shrimp and vegetable tempura for around 2000¥. The cold soba was refreshing and tempura was fresh and crispy. The place was really cozy and service was on point. My partner had the duck soba which was fantastic as well. If you are in the ikeda area (maybe for the cup noodle museum), stop by here for lunch! *As a bonus, they have a lunch set menu as well!*

This restaurant did not have an English menu, but the people working here recommended us dishes to order. Dishes were affordable, with 2 main sets total around 3000 yen. Workers were friendly. We sat on the first floor and could observe them preparing the food, which was quite an experience. We had cold soba, 1 with shrimp tempura, 1 with warm duck soup. Both were very delicious and we felt like ordering more soba noodles! Do check this out when you come to Ikeda station!

A perfect home style soba shop. Strongly recommend a duck broth soba, it's the best I've ever had. The staff are friendly and have a limited English menu, though I also recommend the soba ice cream which is on the Japanese menu, it's totally unique and very delicious. It seems it may be popular with locals so it might be quite busy. A hidden gem, we're so lucky to have found it!

Very very good soba with friendly service. So good that I forgot to take a photo before I started. We tried the special edition soba inspired by a manga and a three type soba. There are also a yuzu infused soba and others. The soba is chewy and delicious and the tempura is amazing as well. At the end you get to try sobayu to end it off. The free roasted tea is so so good as well.
