This is a small restaurant run by an elderly couple, located at the corner of the shopping area in Ishibashi Handai-mae. The atmosphere has a very traditional Japanese feel—warm and homey. I recommend checking the menu displayed at the front window before entering so you can place your order right away when the staff comes. I felt a bit sorry because the elderly owner had to walk all the way from the kitchen to my table, which was near the entrance. I ordered the curry rice and tempura bowl—both were delicious and had a homemade taste. The flavor was well-balanced, and there was no need to add anything. Prices are standard, and note that they only accept cash.

Lovely oyakodon at a reasonable price.

石橋阪大前駅からすぐの場所にある昭和な感じの定食屋さん。親子丼とカツ丼をいただきました。提供も早く、期待通りのオーソドックスな丼ものは安心感あり。

古くからご夫婦で営んでる大衆食堂 豚の生姜焼き定食をいただきました。 14時くらいに行きましたが、 ちょこちょこお客さんが入っていました。 女性一人でも入れるのでおすすめです。
