【Ibaraki Tomiya】 This is an old-school izakaya right in front of Hankyu Ibaraki-shi Station. Instead of katsu, the skewers are served more like fried cutlets. Overall, it's cheap and delicious. It's a good old-fashioned izakaya focused mainly on skewers and oden, along with a daily menu. I usually drop by to kill time when it suddenly rains, and there are always quite a few regulars there. With its Showa-era vibe that suits the rain, it gives you a somewhat nostalgic feeling. There are still so many menu items I want to try, so I'll definitely come back! This is not a place for loud, rowdy groups. It's just right for quietly and slowly enjoying drinks, side dishes, and the atmosphere. In particular, the oden and doteyaki are exceptional. The master's knife skills and cooking are top-notch. I'm so glad I found this great place. It's one of my favorite spots.

Went here for the first time! We went in as a group of two women just before 8 PM on a weekday; the counter was full, so we got a table instead♪ I saw that the doteyaki and oden were delicious, so I ordered them. The oden had absorbed all the broth and was super delicious! I wonder if the master runs the place all by himself? He was super nice, and I really enjoyed my time at this single spot💡 It was delicious, and I definitely want to visit again! Also, incredible value for money. A great place for people who like to drink!

Hmm. This is the kind of place I love. Total Showa-era vibe!! Drinks are cheap. Side dishes are cheap too. But unfortunately, business hours as of now are from 7 PM to 10 PM. Only 3 hours? What a waste!! Still, you can spend an intense, wonderful 3 hours there. The master is extremely neat and clean. You definitely have to check out the restaurant's restroom too. It's always spotless. You can tell what a drinking establishment is like by its restroom. Must visit!!

An izakaya run all by himself by a warm-hearted master. The food and drinks are delicious, and the atmosphere is very cozy! The black oden and doteyaki are top recommendations. Please come and try them!
